  • You can scavage though the streets and find interesting objects to use for self defence. For Instance the mag uses the example of being chased unequipped and you go find a bottle in a dumpster.
  • Phillet's is a fish orientated restuarant which you can take away from.
  • Rodney's Roadside Diner is a place in the countryside - Didn't say if you can eat there, but from a pic it seems you can go in there.
  • Jumping off tall buildings will now result in ugly deaths.
  • You can whack people accross the head with weapons.
  • Los Santos is 1 and a half times the size of Vice City.
  • In Los Santos there is a dock which has a carnival.

I don't have a scanner but here is the description of the screens once again credit to Kendostick:

  • CJ and 3 guys with green shattered bottles walking at night time down a backstreet with graffiti - It says on the wall Ballas with huge women's tits in a bikini.
  • A fat old guy reading a news paper inside of a hair salon.
  • Inside of what seems to be Phillet's, 2 people are sitting down and a guy dressed up in a blue uniform is behind the counter. CJ is wearing white singlet, blue jeans and black and white shoes standing in front of an ordering menu.
  • CJ walking on some docks - It looks like some sort of carnival is going on.
  • CJ and Ryder in a basketball court (looks like a cut scene from the angle and close ups.
  • Ryder talking to a white guy in a Pizza parlour - Definitely a cutscene.
  • CJ standing outside of a Roadside Diner 'Rodney's?' see a sign behind him with a toilet.
  • CJ riding a motorbike into some sort of country town.
  • New- Their are several kinds of bikes, including a mountain bike for the amazing landscape, as well as the already seen Bmx bike which Orange Grove members ride when their in their own gang area, called the land-duck
  • Money is a very important part of the game as you may already know. One of the things its important for is Casinos which you can build. If you dont have enough money, you wont be able to build a great casino. You may lose profit, you wont have the craps table you always wanted. Once you get what you want, youll have to make your money back again, the casino is very expensive. Create backrooms, where your gang can operate. You will have to take money out of your bank to pay the security, good security will cost more. If you run out of money, you may get robbed if you dont have good security... Before you have your own casino monopoly, you can go to other casinos where their are missions involved as well. You can play slots, and many other things. If you get addicted, people will start dispising you, especially if you lose gang money..
  • new- In a mission in near the start of the game, as it introduces you to the weight part of the game...You go to Earls Gym and Cafe spot, and if you can rapidly press certain buttons like in olymic games, you will be able to get buff. In a cutscene when your fat, people make fun of you. But when your buff in the cutscene, you meet a girl. Lets just say shes blonde...
  • some new blunt weapons include 2 by 4s, metal pipes, wire, and the pistol whip is now possible....
  • Their will be a character named Cesar, which is a columbian drug dealer who is always following cj secretly, and is the man that ran over cjs brother.
  • new- Steve Scott will be in the game
  • New- Their are undercover cops, you can never trust anyone. Not like vice city undercovers, these guys are the real thing.
  • silencers are on certain weapons, this was drafted in by my forum hunting.
  • Cj has a crib
  • their are some smaller gangs besides the main 3
  • you can modify your ride, costs money
  • frank vincent has a role in the game
  • Tommy Vercetti is not a major factor in the game or small factor, but the art team has put some extras in their for you
  • Cruising through San Andreas wouldn't be fun without San Andreas' favourite hot radio stations: These are some rumored radio stations!
  • Cronic Fm
  • G Funk
  • Fever Del Rosa
  • Gwa
  • Nerve Fm
  • Cerritos Central
  • Origanal Flavour ( cj's fav)
  • Dark Grundge Radio
  • Dangerous n Famous
  • Kool G Rap
  • Sports Phan Home of the Saints
  • Los santos rapid star- news (lsrs)

  • The follow-up to Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. This
time around, developer Rockstar North and publisher Rockstar draw upon a
conceptual style reminiscent of the popular 1990s gangsta films like Boyz in
the Hood and Juice. Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures
of life in Los Santos, San Andreas -- a city tearing itself apart with gang
trouble, drugs and corruption. Now, it's the early '90s. Carl's got to go
home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his
childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the
neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced
on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save
his family and to take control of the streets.
  • 50 CENT IN GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS SHOCKER!!!

Whispers and mutterings have reached the ever grinding RWD rumour mill that 50 Cent may be playing the leading role in the next game in the smash hit Grand Theft Auto series. Released in October, the next installment of GTA, which is one of the world's top selling computer games, is set in mid nineties West Coast America and is immersed in hip hop and gangland culture.
  • The character 50 is rumoured to be playing is Carl Johnson, an ex-con who returns to his home state (San Andreas, stupid) after serving five years in the Liberty City slammer (Liberty City is a fictional city from GTA3...). His mother has been killed, his family is falling apart and his childhood friends are going off the rails. Our hero is framed for murder by a couple of bent cops sending him on a journey across the whole of San Andreas as a wanted fugitive.

  • Savvy readers (or those who spend too much time scouring the net, which, honestly, is most of us), will likely have heard rumors, such as those reported on Games Radar, that a movie based on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is in the works. Apparently first reported in Ain't It Cool News (and since removed), the claim was that Rockstar Games had sold the rights for a Hollywood take on their flagship franchise.
  • It turns out all of this talk was rather premature. We contacted Rockstar today and a spokesman was able to confirm that these rumors are not in fact true.
  • The Grand Theft Auto series is, of course, still very much alive, with the next chapter now in development. Whether the franchise branches out into other media or not, there's little doubt it will continue to be a juggernaut in the entertainment world.
  • 17 Huge Screens (compared to 3 on other sites)
  • The name and background of the main character
  • What 3 cities the game will take place in
  • The timeline of the game
  • New vehicles, weapons and abilities
  • New recruitable partners
  • Rumors about the game we've heard
  • Much More!

  • A lot of you have been asking the same thing lately: Why don't we know
anything about Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas yet? If it's coming out in
October, shouldn't we all have something a bit more concrete by now? With
this being the fifth (actually the sixth if you include GTA: London) game in
the series, there seem to be worries that GTA could end up suffering from
what is commonly referred to as "the Tomb Raider effect," a phenomenon
closely related to "jumping the shark." How many times can a game be
sequelled before it needs an overhaul? For Tomb Raider it was just twice
(indicating some significant lunacy concerning the four subsequent
releases), but others, like Tony Hawk, have weathered the market in a much
healthier fashion. For GTA, let's hope all the rumors about the proposed
content are true and it is indeed as significant a game as the last two.
What's that? You don't know what the rumors are? Let me help you out.
  • It's going to use the latest version of RenderWare, the same graphical guts
that make NBA Ballers look awesome and Burnout 3 look so silky smooth.
There's also talk of the hottest physics technology being used, possibly
Havok (which is turning up everywhere from Astro Boy to Mercenaries), so we
can expect everything to bounce around the environment when blown up and
characters to rag-doll like it's going out of fashion. The script reading
for the casting call was a scene from Colors, which leads us to believe the
new game is a little more contemporary than Vice City. Colors is set in the
mid-'90s, though, so it's not quite present day, but not quite retro, so
this might not be the most reliable indication of what's going on. My
money's on an ambiguous "present day" vibe to accompany the ambiguous "West
Coast" setting that will no doubt blend L.A. and San Francisco elements.
  • There's talk of online modes, but sadly, not online gameplay. This isn't the
oft-rumored online GTA where people get to start their own gangs (that
concept may actually turn up in an Eidos game at E3 before Rockstar nails
it). What does this mean for San Andreas? Presumably, downloads, social
stuff, mods, and other goodies, along with some kind of "make your own
character" mode that (fingers crossed) might use the EyeToy the way MLB 2005
does. This last rumor is fueled, with some considerable vigor, by the
thriving community for game skins on sites like Codename Vice City, where
you can find images of celebrities from Ali G (inspired!) to Wolverine to
download for the PC version of Vice City. Speaking of celebrities, there
have been lots of rumors about voice talent, with everyone from erstwhile
Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder (also of another Manchester scene
favorite, Black Grape) to 50 Cent and Eminem said to be flexing their vocal
chords for both the dialogue and the soundtrack. From the less-reliable end
of the rumor mill, there's talk of skateboards in the new game, as well as a
buddy system that lets you control more than one character at once. I'm not
sure I believe either of these rumors, but the Rockstar North guys never
seem to be lacking surprising ideas.
  • Hopefully, we'll get some more concrete information in the next few weeks,
although it seems unlikely that Rockstar will be dropping its pants on the
subject at E3. As it did with Vice City a couple of years ago, Rockstar will
probably release a few screens in May, but we won't start to get a good feel
for what the game is really all about until summer. It'll be nice not to
have to speculate on rumors, because all this must just be driving you
insane. I know it's making us crazy.

  • I got a new rumor bitc**S that the next gta game will be, drum roll please, psp.
  • This month's issue of Game Informer has a 10-page article on the new GTA
came coming in October. This game is going to be totally off the hook! It
takes place in entire state of California!! There are three cities, San
Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Each city is the size of Vice City,
only much more detailed and featured. Plus, you have to actually drive
through the state to get from one city to another, just as you would if you
were really driving through California. The countryside is going to be
mostly barren but with some features and missions in between (if you've ever
driven Highway 5 from SF to LA you'll know that it's mostly farmland. Head
on over to Las Vegas and you'll be driving through the Mojave Desert).

In Vegas you can gamble. Even build and run a Casino! You can also form a
gang and do 4-person drive-bys. The detailing and fighting in the game is
also richer. There's lots of new cars and guns and even bikes! It's also
sort of like an RPG, because you can take your character to the gym and work
him out. Or, if you just feed him doughnuts all the time he'll get fat and
sloppy and be unable to perform missions! The feature for buying and
managing property, originally introduced in Vice City is also suppsoed to be
    alot better.

All confirmed facts, not rumors! This game is going to be totally out of
control. I can hardly wait. Oh it's also supposed to have a dynamic
difficulty, so if you're having trouble on a mission after retrying several
times it will ease up on you a bit so you can actually finish it! That's the
    best new feature IMHO.

  • There have been some rumors that part of Los Santos will be held by rioters. I hope it's true. I always liked the riot codes in GTA3 and Vice City. This would be a way to have it without putting the code in or messing up 100%. You could either go and riot with them. Or help the police to control the situation. Or just kill everyone in sight. So what do you think about this rumor? Do you want there to be rioters in Los Santos?
  • Dont no if this is true or not but one of my friends who is relly into gta
told me that when psm said relationships it ment with rival gangs, your
gang, police, and girls that you meet. And he said if you have a good
relationship with the girls you will start dating.....
